Recent Developments

• In December 2017, February 2019, SPX Flow, Inc. entered into a contract worth approximately USD 60 million to establish a dairy ingredients plant in Galicia, Spain. The contract involves SPX Flow to design and provides a completely integrated solution that maximizes the return on skimmed milk by manufacturing high-value dry dairy components. The completed facility will feature an array of SPX Flow fluid handling components and process technologies, including valves, pumps, heat exchangers, homogenizers, separators, and mixers.
• In July 2017, SPX Flow signed an agreement to form a joint venture (JV) with the WTE Wajdi (Iraq) Group dedicated to the service of all rotating and static equipment for oil and gas, industrial, and power customers in Iraq. The JV will provide services such as field service, site survey, and workshop overhaul & maintenance services for all manufacturers of rotating equipment, including centrifugal, reciprocating, and metering pumps, and mixers, and static equipment service for valves, filters, and quick release closures.
• In December 2019, Sulzer launched the SALOMIX agitator family that is designed to operate in demanding applications in various industries. The combination of maximum propeller efficiency and optimum agitator selection reduces the overall power consumption of the mixing application significantly.
  In August 2017, Sulzer launched the AGISTAR SSA side-mounted agitator range and a hydraulic upgrade for SALOMIX side-entry agitators. With the new AGISTAR SSA side-mounted agitator, Sulzer took a significant step to decrease power consumption further and reduce the environmental impact of its product portfolio.
